Here’s what’s coming up at the LutherCare Foundation!

My husband Ron experienced a long, challenging dementia journey. Due to no fault of his own, he resided in three different facilities before finally reaching his permanent home within LutherCare Communities. On his second day at LutherCare, he turned to me and said, “THANK YOU,” it made my heart ache and flooded my eyes with tears.

It is a difficult journey for all family members. I praise the staff within LutherCare Communities who were so supportive and caring, and constantly strove to make Ron’s life comfortable through his dementia journey.

From birth, Uncle Rodney had very serious health conditions. As he aged our family was unable to provide him with the care he needed, it nearly broke our hearts. At the time, Valley View in Moose Jaw was the only option, and when it closed the stress and anxiety for Uncle Rodney was eased by a call from Thea at LutherCare.

LutherCare is not a facility, it is a home, a home like anyone else would have full of love, care and respect. Where you are made to feel welcome at any time. It is a place that gives peace and hope to many families who need it most.
