LutherCare Foundation's 31st annual Fundraising Dinner, held on Thursday, May 15 at the Travelodge Hotel in Saskatoon, raised a record total of more than $24,000! Included in the amount was silent auction sales of more than $6,000, also a new record. Funds raised will go to support the Renewal of Luther Special Care Home. The next phase in the Renewal will be the renovation of the kitchen in the 1st Floor Neighbourhood as a more open and welcoming space that will serve as the heart of the home.

LutherCare Foundation thanks all those who helped to make the dinner a success. These included visiting dignitaries Bishop Sid Haugen of the Saskatchewan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada; Hon. Don Morgan, Minister of Education; Hon. Donna Harpauer, Minister of Social Services; His Worship Mayor Don Atchison; and Frank Lukowich of the Saskatoon Regional Health Authority. Entertainment was provided by the Toon Town Big Band, joined by members of the U of S Ballroom Dancing Club.

Grateful thanks is also extended to the corporate sponsors and silent auction donors.
