LutherCare Communities will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2015. The first 58 residents began moving into the original Lutheran Sunset Home at 1212 Osler Street in March 1955 and the home was officially opened in June of that year. Since then, LutherCare has grown to serve some 1,000 residents and clients every day from locations throughout Saskatchewan.

In addition to the organization's 60th anniversary, several sites will mark significant milestones in 2015: the Luther Seniors Centre will celebrate 30 years, Group Living and the Community Day Programs will celebrate 20 years, and both the Luther Tower Intermediate Care Home and Luther Riverside Terrace will celebrate 15 years of operation.
